Zhenru Temple

Zhenru Temple is located at the top of Yunju Mountain, in the center of the Lotus City Scenic Area. Surrounded by peaks, resembling clusters of lotus petals, the artistic conception of "lotus peaks cluster around Huatai, with a bowl of central peaks leaning against a mirror. Looking at the temple, clouds are held out, and the lake is floating towards the sea" is formed. It is a national key open temple, one of the three model jungles in the country, and the birthplace of the Caodong Sect of Buddhism. For thousands of years, incense has flourished, leading to the emergence of many eminent monks and a magnificent Zen style. Throughout history, the hosts of Zhenru Temple have conscientiously adhered to the ancestral precept of "emphasizing both agriculture and Zen", which has led to the flourishing of the temple's Zen style and its reputation as the "world's largest and most orthodox Zen center".
